Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using the Site, purchasing products, or downloading resources, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Who we are & what we offer

We operate an author website that may include: book information and pre-orders, event bookings and appearances, educational materials for families and teachers, digital downloads (e.g., PDFs, e-books), and a newsletter or blog (collectively, the “Services”).

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with involvement of a parent or guardian.

Accounts

Some features may require an account. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials confidential

  • All activities under your account

Purchases, Pricing & Taxes

  • Prices and availability may change without notice.

  • You authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your payment method for all purchases, including applicable taxes and shipping (if any).

  • Promotions, coupons, and discounts are subject to additional terms and may be modified or discontinued at any time

Pre-orders & Shipping

  • Pre-orders: We aim to ship by the estimated release date, but dates are not guaranteed. If a release is delayed or canceled, we’ll notify you and offer options (e.g., revised timeline or refund).

  • Risk of loss: Transfers to you when the carrier accepts the package.

  • Shipping regions: [List regions/countries you ship to]. You are responsible for any customs, duties, or import fees.

Digital Products & Licenses 

  • Unless stated otherwise, digital products are sold under a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, single-user license for personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, share, post publicly, or redistribute files.

  • Download links may be time-limited or have download caps to prevent abuse.

  • Back up your files; we are not responsible for lost downloads after the access window.

Educator/Classroom License (if provided)

  • If a product listing states an Educator/Classroom License, the purchaser may use the material within their own classroom(s) and share with their enrolled students/guardians for learning purposes. Sharing with other educators/schools or posting files publicly is not permitted unless the listing expressly allows it

Refunds & Returns

  • Digital products: Due to their nature, all sales are final once the file is delivered, except where required by law. If you encounter a file issue, contact drwrightwrights@gmail.com and we will re-deliver or provide a suitable remedy.

  • Physical goods: You may request a return/exchange within 3 days of delivery if items are defective or damaged in transit. Keep packaging and provide photos. We may require return shipment before issuing a replacement or refund.

Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Site—including text, artwork, logos, photographs, videos, designs, products, and downloads—is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

  • You may not copy, modify, translate, create derivative works, distribute, sell, or exploit any content without prior written permission, except as permitted under a specific product license or by law (e.g., fair use).

  • Some images may be artistic or AI-assisted renderings. They are provided for creative, educational, or editorial purposes and do not imply endorsement by depicted persons or estates. Any resemblance to real persons (living or dead) outside of intentional historical depiction is coincidental.

User Generated Content

  • If you submit reviews, comments, photos, or other content:

  • You represent you own or control the rights to your submission and it does not infringe any third party rights.

  • You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute your UGC in connection with the Site and our marketing (you can withdraw future use by emailing drwrightwrites@gmail.com; this does not affect materials already produced).

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any law or infringe intellectual property or privacy rights

  • Upload or transmit malware or attempt to access the Site without authorization

  • Scrape, index, or harvest data from the Site without our prior written consent

  • Interfere with Site functionality (e.g., throttling, denial-of-service)

  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

Third Party Services and Links

The Site may link to third-party platforms (e.g., payment processors, social media, printers/fulfillment, event platforms). We are not responsible for their content, policies, or actions. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and privacy policies.

Educational & Informational Content

Content is provided for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute individualized educational, legal, medical, or professional advice. You are responsible for how you use the information and materials.

Disclaimers

THE SITE, SERVICES, AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. Indemnification

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

Severability; No Waiver; Entire Agreement

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, plus any product-specific or event-specific terms, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and Services.
